Here at the Blue Light Canterbury Youth Development Programme Trust (CYDP) the focus is on a collaborative approach with central and local government, communities, non-government agencies, and the business and private sector in order to work together for the benefit of our young people.

We believe that every sector of society has a responsibility to nurture its young people and encourage their growth and development. You, as the reader, are a valuable part of this society and we encourage you to take hold of the opportunity to assist in anyway you can.

This site has been designed to give you an insight into the workings of CYDP and more importantly to show you how you can become involved. We encourage you to join with us as we develop innovative and unique programmes to engage with a wide variety of young people, and present them with opportunities and support to be the best they can be.
